Lessons From Mother Earth

 So in high school ,we had amateur football matches;amateur meaning just for fun. There was team A and team B. I personally was not a good player so I was in Team B( a team not known for its football exploits).I was a substitute in team B. Minutes after the game started our team had been scored against two times and the goalkeeper was in an emotional wreck. He could not take it anymore. I thought of myself as a striker but guys called upon me to be the goalkeeper. It was going well ,I had saved a few weak shots. I started gaining confidence ,I told my defenders to go into midfield to help us score. Suddenly, a midfielder of team A hit the ball in front so that the striker could catch up to it.The striker was a huge guy known for bullying. As he caught up to the ball ,thought flooded my mind. Do I have medical insurance cover?Was it worth it? Boom! He shot the ball. I stretched my arms so that it could seem I was trying. In my head I prayed it could miss me even if it was a goal ,I ...
